ALFRA Rotabest Attachment for Clamping Pipes Attachment for Clamping Pipes Ï For outdoor work as well as in workshops Ï Our mechanic pipe clamping device with tension chain allows the use of our ROTABEST core drilling machines on pipe from 80 up to 300 mm dia. ( larger sizes on request) in every position even on stainless steel, aluminium, brass or plastics. The clamping device can be fixed quickly and easily on pipes of different diameters - adjustment being made by movable tension catches Ï Put tension chain around the pipe, pass through the clamping device and prestress. Ï Mount core drilling machine, switch on the magnet and tighten the magnet safety screws on both sides. Ï Adjust core drilling machine and tighten the tension chain by means of the adjustable crank handle. Ï Ready for drilling. Ï Before drilling a new hole on the same pipe only release the crank handle, adjust the drilling machine on the next spot and tighten the tension chain again.
